i have used avg for years and it has always been very reliable. i have yet to see a threat that it
has not detected. i would tell anyone who asked that avg is the best buy for the buck. you can get 2
years of coverage for far less than most of the big name anti virus companies and avg does just as
good a job if not better.
Agreed. I've been using the FREE version for about 5 years and it's nothing short of
bulletproof. You can set it to automatically update virus definitions daily. Any time a
client begins asking me which virus protection program I recommend, this is my no-brainer
answer.......... every time !!
I n my past 2 months' experience of using AVG it could resolve challenging problems I was facing due
to attacks on my system. The performance is goodand regular update is forthcoming. When there was a
severe problem it required re-installation which washampered repeatedly but the software was capable
enough to sort out the impediments and got installed and bundle of trojans and viruses were removed
in the first scan. The machine was put in order immediately on removal of the threats. Thanks a lot
to the provider.
Im using AVG 8.5 how can i be sure that it blocks viruses from internet becouse once i select block
all i cannot access internet then, i have to select allow all in order to access internet. Please
advise me about bloching internet malicious software.
Th e acg program indicates " The virus vault has reached the maximum file count limit' . THen it
seems to malfunction. What up with that ? How can I empty it ?? Or delete the vault contents ?
Still getting used to the new version. I would like to know how to turn off specific warnings - it
gives me around 25 000 warnings per scan and I find it difficult to page through the trivia to find
those I should watch more closely. However, I find it very easy to run - it has a good interface
and is more user-friendly than previous versions.
